PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus are provided to prevent defects caused due to the mixture of colors of the phosphors, while eliminating the necessity of performing processes for removing and firing the phosphor ink. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of mounting a substrate on a table and depositing a barrier rib material on the substrate; a second step of forming a barrier rib by processing the barrier rib material; a third step of disposing an ink jet head at an end of the barrier rib so as to deposited a phosphor between the barrier ribs; a fourth step of injecting a phosphor ink to the space formed between the barrier ribs formed on the substrate by using an ink jet head; and a fifth step of solidifying the phosphor ink by irradiating a drying ray to the end of the barrier rib. |
