<p>A pneumatic radial tire, wherein the tread part (2) of a tire tread is formed of a plurality of blocks (6) divided by a main vertical groove (3) circumferentially formed via. a lateral center, a plurality of auxiliary vertical grooves (4) circumferentially formed on both sides of the main vertical groove (3), and a plurality of lateral grooves (5) laterally formed so as to intersect with the main and auxiliary vertical grooves (3) and (4), each of the plurality of blocks (6) is provided with a one end opening sipe (9) and formed so that a lateral rigidity is higher at a center side area end part (a) than at a shoulder side area end part (b), whereby, since the rigidity is set higher at the center side area end part (a), a reaction according to a steer angle is produced from the start of steering.</p> |
