DEVICE FOR GRAFTING APPLES AND VEGETABLES

PURPOSE: Provided is a device for grafting apples and vegetables which significantly enhances the grafting success rate, the grafting precision degree and the grafting productivity with the grafting of the scions on the stocks. CONSTITUTION: The cut portion of the scion is automatically inserted into the cut portion of the stock, and the portions to be grafted are manually fixed using a fixation member. The stock is obliquely gripped by the upper and lower chucks of a stock gripper(10) along a guide plate(65), and horizontally delivered to the grafting location. The scion is vertically gripped by the upper and lower chucks of a scion gripper(20) along a guide plate(60), and horizontally delivered to the grafting location. A scion guide bar(30) is placed at the grafting location to correctly insert the cut portion of the scion into the cut portion of the stock. A support bar(13) is placed between the upper and lower chucks of the stock gripper to support the stock.
