PURPOSE: A handy water tank is provided to filter impurities out from unclean water by a fine screen, a coarse screen, precipitation boards and filters. CONSTITUTION: The process of the handy water tank is composed of: natural water comes passes through an inlet pipe(8) and reaches the isolated room of a precipitation filtering device(5); ingredients of the inflowing water with high specific gravity sinks and enters a sludge storage(5d); at this step, big floating matters are filtered by a coarse screen and small floating matters are delivered to the second isolated room and filtered by a fine screen; also the heavier component sinks and goes into the sludge storage, and the floating matter with low specific gravity passes through the first precipitation board, then flows into the third isolated room; repeatedly, heavier components like sand sinks to be kept in the storage and light materials like soil pass through the second precipitation board, then reach the fourth isolated room; finally the light component passes through a filter and becomes drinking water.
