MICROBIAL PREPARATION USING BACILLUS SP. HSB-21 STRAIN, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME, AND CONTROLLING METHOD BASED THEREON

PURPOSE: Provided is a microbial preparation containing bacillus sp. HSB-21 which has a wider temperature range of growth, excellent environmental adaptation, and a capacity of inhibiting the growth of plant pathogenic fungi, such as Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium solani. It is effectively used in various plant growth environments instead of the existent agricultural chemicals. CONSTITUTION: A microbial preparation contains Bacillus sp. HSB-21 strain(KFCC-11221), chitosan, and alginate. A method of making the microbial preparation comprises the steps of: culturing the Bacillus sp. HSB-21 in a fermenter; mixing the cultured solution with a solution wherein sodium alginate is dissolved in a saline solution; dropping calcium chloride to the mixture to form beads; and dipping the beads in a chitosan solution, followed by stirring it. The pathogenic microorganism is inhibited in its growth by applying the microbial preparation or the Bacillus sp. HSB-21 strain to the target plant.
