PURPOSE: An actuator controlling method is provided to simplify power transmission and a structure of an actuator by linearly controlling the actuator. CONSTITUTION: Firstly, it is determined whether or not a valve is automatically operated(12). If the valve is automatically operated, Ampere of an electric motor is inspected(16). Then, an opening degree of an inlet guide vane is determined(17). After that, present pressure is compared with predetermined pressure(18). If present pressure is lower than predetermined pressure, it is determined whether or not an error value is larger than a dead band range and the actuator is in a maximum Ampere state(20). Then, it is determined whether or not a proportional variation of the inlet guide vane is larger than 3(21). An increased value of the inlet guide vane is achieved by adding a differential variation of the inlet guide vane(22). Then, the actuator is operated so as to increase an opening degree of the inlet guide vane(24). After determining whether or not the actuator is a minimum Ampere(27), it is determined whether or not a proportional variation of the inlet guide vane is larger than 3(28). If the proportional variation of the inlet guide vane is not larger than 3, the proportional variation is changed into a negative value through multiplying the proportional variation by -1. After obtaining increased value of the inlet guide(31), an actuator is operated in such a manner that the opening degree of the inlet guide vane is reduced(33).
