The invention relates to packaging, especially blister packaging of the clamshell type for personal hygiene items and personal care items, comprising a packaging part having a flange-type connecting section for connection to another packaging part and in order to close said packaging, in addition to an opening aid extending along the connecting section on the inner side thereof. According to the invention, the opening aid is constituted by an cutting tool guide devoid of any material weakening in the form of a material profiled section extending in a linear manner, forming a cut deflector pointing away from the connecting section. The cutting tool guide is especially provided with raised ribs which are arranged behind each other in a dashed line-type manner and which are provided with a flank which decreases in an oblique manner towards the inside, acting as a shaft in said packaging material.
