PURPOSE: A converter blowing method is provided in which ladle slag and manganese ore are properly injected into molten steel to substitute for an existing flux of fluorite when manufacturing molten steel in converter. CONSTITUTION: In a converter blowing for refining hot metal into molten steel, the converter blowing method comprises the process of injecting a flux prepared by mixing 4 to 6 wt.% of ladle slag containing 30 to 50 wt.% of Al2O3 with 6 to 4 wt.% of manganese ore containing 40 to 60 wt.% of total manganese into converter, thereby improving fluidity of converter slag to promote slagmaking power and suppress oxidation loss of manganese contained in hot metal at the same time.
