PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing member for a corrugated fiberboard box for packing fruit which can be used without damaging packed fruit, and which does not generate a detrimental combustion gas during the process of disposal, and which can be used for many packing forms with less kinds. SOLUTION: This packing member 40 for the corrugated fiberboard box for packing fruit is mounted on the top of the fruit 1 housed in the corrugated fiberboard box 10 in a state housing the fruit 1 in the concave portion 12 of a package member 11, by using the package member 11 in which a plurality of the concave portions 12 for holding the lower part of substantially spherical fruit 1 by wrapping are formed in a line at a prescribed pitch, and the body 41 formed with the plate material of a corrugated fiberboard made of paper having a prescribed thickness is provided, and penetration grooves 42-1 to 42-6 of a prescribed dimension and a notched concave portion 43 are formed in the position corresponding to a plural kinds of pitches in the concave portion 12 of the package member 11 in the body.
