Goniochromatic gloss pigments based on silicate pigments coated with titaniumdioxide, which are heat treated in a reducing atmosphere

Goniochromatic pearlescent pigments based on silicate flakes coated with titanium dioxide and heated in a reducing atmosphere have at least (A) a colorless layer with a refractive index n≤1.8; and (B) a colorless layer with a refractive index n≥2.0. An Independent claim is also included for the production of the pigments.
