Mixtures consisting of finely divided feldspar and organosilicon compounds, their preparation and their use

Mixtures of finely-divided feldspar with organosilicon compounds of formula: ÄR<1>n(RO)3-nSi-(CH2)zÜyÄBÜ (I) and/or R<1>n(RO)3-nSiR<2> (II). In (I) and (II), B = -SCN when y = 1 or -Sx when y = 2; R and R<1> = 1-8C alkyl; n = 0-2; z = 1-8; x = 1-8; and R<2> = 1-8C unsaturated alkyl. Also claimed are: (i) surface-modified feldspars obtained by heating the mixtures at 80-160 degrees C; (ii) sulphur/accelerator -vulcanisable rubber mixes containing 10-300 wt.% of the (I)-mixture or (I)- modified feldspar; and (iii) peroxide-vulcanisable rubber mixes containing 10-300 wt. % of the (II)-mixture or (II)-modified feldspar.
