摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed measuring method capable of measuring relative moving speed of a moving object without the need for finding relative moving distance of the moving object by previously measuring the angle of inclination of a track relative to a vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: A line sensor camera A303 and a line sensor camera B304 are installed on a parallelogrammic variable-angle tool 305. The shortest distances from the two cameras to tracks on which a standing vehicle 1-307 makes relative movement are equal to each other. Optical axes of the two cameras are kept parallel to each other at all times. Accordingly, moving distance Lr 306 is equal to the distance between the two cameras. Images acquired by the two cameras are stored in a time series to prepare time-series image data, and corresponding points between two time-series images are detected, thereby finding the deviation of time.
