PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber selecting device which can selectively connect a main optical fiber and one of a plurality of branching optical fibers to each other. SOLUTION: The optical fiber selecting device includes a housing which has a port for input and output and a plurality of ports for connection, a rod which is pivotally connected in the housing and has a free end, a slide plate which is connected to the free end of the rod and has a connection head part, an internal optical fiber which connects the connection head part and input/ output port to each other, and a switch which is a switch connected to the rod and projecting from a slot and controls the pivotal movement of the rod so as to selectively connect the connection head part to one of the ports for connection. The input/output port is fitted to the front of the housing for connection with the main optical fiber, the plurality of ports for connection are fitted to the front of the housing adjacently to the input/output port for connections with the plurality of branch optical fibers, and the slot is formed on the top surface of the housing.
