PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system capable of realizing energy saving. SOLUTION: This photographing system is provided with a shake detection means for detecting the shake of a system main body, a shake correction means for correcting the shake of a subject image by driving a shake correction optical system based on output from the shake detection means and a control means for controlling power feed to the shake detection means, and the control means shuts off the power feed to the shake detection means when a specified photographing mode is set out of a plurality of photographing modes.
