<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device by which a developing sleeve roller is uniformly, easily and quickly replenished with toner over its entire width from a lower side without causing the leakage of the toner and an image forming apparatus performing the image forming of a high image quality by applying the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with the developing sleeve roller arranged closely to an image forming body and a toner lifting means arranged near the lower side of the developing sleeve roller and to lift the toner to the scavenging position of the developing sleeve roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
