<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus that can automate camera calibrating work. <P>SOLUTION: A camera 200 photographs a board 100 for calibration on which a reference position 101, a surrounding pattern, a central pattern 103, and corner patterns 104 are formed from a prescribed position. A camera calibrating device 300 correlates the screen coordinate of the reference position 101 with a world coordinate based on the image of the board 100 photographed by means of the camera 200, calculates the calibrating parameter of the camera 200 based on the correlated result, and calibrates the camera 200 in accordance with the calculated calibrating parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
