<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capillary electrophoresis method for determining each constituent in a sample without requiring any markers and without depending on the amount of injection of the sample. <P>SOLUTION: When each kind of constituent in a sample is to be separated and analyzed by a capillary-electrophoresis method, two detection positions are provided at one capillary that is composed by through holes 3 and 4 that are connected to a groove 5 and both the ends. A total concentration value (TP value) of the concentration of all constituents before electrophoresis is measured by a detector 12 at a first detection position 11 near a through hole 3 that is one detection position. A demarcated value in each constituent during electrophoresis is measured by a detector 14 at a second detection position 13 that is the other detection position. Then, each demarcated value is multiplied by the TP value, thus obtaining the determined value of the concentration of each constituent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
