PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic film cartridge with a piece of lightproof cloth excellent in napped condition and satisfying photographic properties, light blocking effect and film drawing performance. SOLUTION: The photographic film cartridge has a piece of lightproof cloth attached to a film drawing slit in the cartridge, wherein the piece of lightproof cloth comprises foundation cloth obtained by immersing foundation cloth in a napping oil solution comprising an ester-base wax and n-paraffin and napping the cloth after drying with a napping machine having a card clothing roller.
