<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fault in equipment by finding deterioration in a digital rotary detector in early stages for carrying out replacement, and also to decrease the running costs of the equipment by reducing the required number of possessed spares of the digital rotary detector secondary. <P>SOLUTION: The output waveform of an on/off count type digital rotary detector 42 is differentiated, and it is discriminated that the detector has deteriorated when a specific threshold is exceeded by the differential waveform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
