PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission which performs feedback control when using a control valve and which is fixed when not using the valve. SOLUTION: The SLT valve of a linear solenoid valve SLT is inputted to a control oil chamber 77a of a garage shift control valve 77, and when direct control pressure provided by the garage shift control valve is outputted to a clutch C1 or a brake B1, the direct control pressure is inputted to the control oil chamber 77c of the garage shift control valve via an oil passage m to perform feedback control. When the range pressure of a clutch modulator valve 76 is outputted to the clutch C1 or the brake B1 by switching the garage shift valve 79, a range pressure greater than the SLT pressure is inputted to the control oil chamber 77c via the oil passage m and the garage shift control valve 77 is fixed in position.
