<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent any deformation of a cylindrical side wall, in particular, an outer wall during the capping in a composite vessel lid in which an upper lid is screwed onto a cap body, and at least a part of the cylindrical side wall of the cap body has a double wall structure. <P>SOLUTION: At least a part of the cylindrical side wall of a cap body in the circumferential direction forms a double wall structure demarcated into an outer side wall and an inner side wall by a slit extending downwardly from an upper end, and a deformation preventive projection having an outer face abutted on an inner face of a lower end of a skirt wall of an upper lid is provided on an upper end face of the outer side wall of the cylindrical side wall when the upper lid is fitted to the cap body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
