<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plate glass for building materials with an indication of product-related information such as the size 33 or the construction 62, which are required when an owner of the building or a resident orders a substitutive plate glass product for the building materials. <P>SOLUTION: An indication 21 of the product-related information including the construction and the size in the lower right-hand corner, when seeing from the interior of the room, of the glass surface of a multi-layered glass 12 for building materials is marked, using a carbon dioxide laser marker. The multi- layered glass has a construction of 6.8 mm thick of wire plate glass on the exterior side of the room, 6 mm thick of transparent plate glass on the interior side of the room, and 6 mm thick of the air layer, and has a size of 1,800 mm in length and 950 mm in width. The indication 21 is easy to see with the eyes of the ordinary people, and the owner of the building or the resident can easily determine the product-related informations of the plate glass for building materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
