PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pressure pump capable of effectively generating pressurized air and controlling the pressurized air in a required range at all times. SOLUTION: A magnet 51 is mounted on the vibration free end of a vibration member 42 via a fulcrum 41, and excited by a solenoid 52. A diaphragm member 43 made of elastic material is fitted to the vibration member 42, so that pressurized air can be generated by expansion and contraction of the diaphragm member 43 accompanying the vibration of the vibration member 42. The output timing of an excitation drive pulse supplied to the solenoid 52 is adjusted using electromotive force induced by the solenoid 52, so that the vibration member 42 can be excited in a free vibration mode.
