PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plurality of images easy to view when the images are displayed on one screen by displaying them with luminance matching the kinds of the images. SOLUTION: A multi-screen display method comprises a step for identifying an image constituting a window selected out of a plurality of windows; a step for generating a signal showing the range of the window when the image of the selected window is to be emphasized; a step for amplifying the video signal within the range in synchronism with the signal; and a step for displaying the image with higher luminance of the window.
