PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of easily detecting the locked and unlocked states of a sliding door and a sash. SOLUTION: This switch device comprises an opening/closing operation member 23 and an operating part receiver 13 for receiving the operation part 23b of the opening/closing operation member 23. A reed switch 27 for detecting the locked and unlocked states of the opening/closing operation member 23 is buried in the operating part receiver 13, and a magnet 26 for opening/closing the reed switch 27 is buried in a magnet holder 25 fixed to a connection part 23c for connecting a cam latch handle 23a to a latch 23b.
