PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of soil sampling work when a plurality of soil sampling points exist within a range in which a propeller shaft member can be propelled and moved from a fixed position on an aboveground side. SOLUTION: A soil sampling apparatus is constituted in such a manner that a soil sampler B is moved to the underground soil sampling points P1-P4 from the aboveground side, filled with soil C at the points P1-P4, and moved to the aboveground side after being filled with soil D, so as to be recovered; a passage 1, through which the soil sampler B can be freely reciprocated toward a tip part of the member 2, is formed in the member 2 which can be propelled and moved to the points P1-P4 from the aboveground side; an opening 6, which allows the passage 1 to communicate with the outside of the member 2, is openably/closably provided at a leading end of the passage 1; and the soil sampler B is provided at the leading end of the passage 1 so as to advance/retreat freely.
