PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for stacking and diluting paper fiber stock by stacking a high-consistency stock in a 1st volume chamber 1 for a defined dwell time, conveying the stock to a 2nd volume chamber 2 and diluting the stock to a state extractable as a suspension S through a filter 5 furnished with a rotor 4, thereby enabling sure stacking of the high-consistency paper fiber stock and, at the same time, enabling the dilution and pumping with a simple means requiring a narrow installation space. SOLUTION: A flow 8 of the paper fiber stock in the axial direction of a spiral screw 7 is formed by the spiral screw 7 placed directly in front of the rotor and the suspension is guided by the flow to a direction to separate the suspension from the filter.
