PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment such as a camera capable of fine zooming without giving the feeling of incompatibility. SOLUTION: The optical equipment has a photographic lens in which a plurality of lens groups are moved in an optical axis direction with respect to an imaging surface so as to adjust image magnification and realize photographing at a discontinuous focal distance, and a trimming information imparting means for imparting trimming magnification for the real focal distance of the photographic lens to an image recording medium at the time of photographing in order to designate a range to be printed on the image recording medium exposed through the photographic lens. At least one or more pseudo focal distances (W', W", Zp1', Zp2' and Zp3') are provided between the discontinuous adjacent real focal distances (Wide, Zp1, Zp2 and Zp3) of the photographic lens.
