PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method for a showcase preventing a lowering of freshness caused by a cooling failure and reducing maintenance calls from stores by predicting the occurrence of frosting to a cooler to avoid the cooling failure before occurring. SOLUTION: In addition to plural preset times of normal defrosting operation D1, D2, D3, D4, additional defrosting operation Da is performed during non- business hours. Each defrosting reset temperature in plural times of normal defrosting operation can be set to different temperature for every defrosting operation.
