PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive material capable of together joining a substrate of a display device and a protective substrate for the display device at a relatively low temperature, moreover, having excellent high oxygen and water-vapor impermeabilities, and capable of giving an adhesive sheet having excellent workability, and to provide the display device obtained by together joining the substrate of the display device and the protective substrate for the display device. SOLUTION: The adhesive material contains (A) an aliphatic or alicyclic compound having two or more oxetanyl groups and one or more hydroxy groups in its molecule, (B) a hardener, and (C) a hyperfine filler.
