PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a coating material containing a colored aggregate, which makes it possible to efficiently produce a coating material containing a colored aggregate with little loss of the colored aggregate, particularly when the quantity of the coating material is small. SOLUTION: One or more liquid raw materials and one or more colored aggregates are filled into a coating material storage container while controlling the weights or volumes of the raw materials and the aggregates. Preferably, they are filled at the same time. More preferably, at least one of the liquid raw materials and the colored aggregates is filled under a pressure.
