PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely restrain failure caused by a physical property change linked up to a fatigue crack for a long period and to enhance durability in run-flat travel, by reinforcing an area of a concentrated stress applied onto a reinforcement rubber layer. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic safety tire 1 provided with the reinforcement rubber layer 13 having a crescent shape of cross section in an inner circumferential face of a carcass layer 7 in a side wall 5, a coating film layer 15 is provided over at least a prescribed area in an inner side 13a of the reinforcement rubber layer 13, and the area of the concentrated stress applied in the run-flat travel is reinforced by the coating film 15 to prevent the fatigue crack.
