<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable normal driving of a vehicle, namely forward, rearward and turning movement, as well as parallel movement of the vehicle in a lateral direction and the like, and also to minimize turning radius. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a steering handle 17; first electric gear mechanisms 20, 23 transmitting rotation of a main spindle 17a of the steering handle 17 to a rotary shaft 22 extending in right and left directions of a vehicle; front and rear wheel units 4A, 4B rotatably installed on a horizontal plane of the vehicle; second electric gear mechanisms 14, 31 transmitting rotation of the rotary shaft 22 to the rotary shaft of the front wheel unit 4A; and third electric gear mechanisms 15, 36 transmitting the rotation of the front wheel unit 4A to the rotary shaft of the rear wheel unit 4B. Instead of the steering handle 17, a rotary operation can be performed by a steering motor.
