<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display device capable of making a pinhole inconspicuous by an integral photography method, increasing the number of effective light beams, obtaining a high quality stereoscopic effect and reproducing natural three-dimensional moving images. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional display device is provided with a first display means 101 capable of switching a first display state of respectively displaying multi view point images in planarly divided small areas and a second display state of planarly and respectively displaying the pinholes corresponding to the small areas where the multi view point images are displayed, a second display means 102 arranged opposing the first display means 101, and a switching means for switching the state (a) of displaying the first display state at the first display means 101 and simultaneously displaying the second display state at the second display means 102 and the state (b) of displaying the second display state at the first display means 101 and simultaneously displaying the first display state at the second display means 102 at the frequency of 30 Hz to 120 Hz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
