ANTISUN COSMETIC COMPOSITION BASED ON SYNERGISTIC MIXTURE OF SCREENING AGENT AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new cosmetic or a dermatological composition useful for protecting the skin or the hair from the influence of ultraviolet light. SOLUTION: This new cosmetic or dermatological composition for topical use comprises (a) 0.1-15 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition of benzene-1,4-di(3-methylidene-10-camphorsulfonic acid) which may be in a partially or completely neutralized state as a first screening agent and (b) 0.1-15 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition of at least one specific amino-substituted 2-hydroxybenzophenone derivative as a second screening agent in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle in which the first and the second screening agents exist in the composition in such a ratio as to cause synergistic activity with respect to a sunlight protection factor.
