PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air adjusting two cycle engine capable of improving fuel consumption and reducing air pollution markedly by eliminating air fuel mixture pushed out of an exhaust port completely until the exhaust port is closed by a piston in a compression process. SOLUTION: A rotary valve for opening, closing, and controlling the exhaust port in the interlocking relationship with rotation operation of a crankshaft is arranged in an abutting part of a pushing-out prevention wall in the exhaust port. When the piston starts to open the exhaust port, the rotary valve opens the exhaust port fully, and then the rotary valve closes the exhaust port communicating with the pushing-out prevention wall until the piston reaches bottom dead center. Furthermore, the exhaust port is closed by the rotary valve until the piston starts to rise and the exhaust port is closed in the compression process to perform a series of these operations.
