PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner characterized by being provided with a fixing ring for a catalyst disposed on an entrance side of an exhaust gas heat exchanger fixable by absorbing strain due to thermal expansion of the catalyst. SOLUTION: By forming cross section of the fixing ring 61 for fixing the catalyst 59 into a U-shape, making cooling water flow between an outer drum 57 and an inner drum 58 and fixing the catalyst 59 to the entrance of the exhaust gas heat exchanger 47 having a double structure, the catalyst 59 can be fixed by absorbing expansion of a normal line direction due to flowing of exhaust gas of a high temperature and strain of expansion due to a temperature difference generated between the catalyst 59 and the exhaust gas heat exchanger 47 which has the double structure, is cooled and hardly performs thermal expansion by elasticity in a bent part of the U-shaped cross section.
