PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent both doors from being inadvertently opened by impeding the operation of a drop bar unless opening one side door fitted with a lock. SOLUTION: This drop structure is mounted to a vertical frame 5 of the other side door 3 of a double hinged gate door comprising one side door 1 fitted with the lock, and the other side door 3 not fitted with a lock and allowing a vertical frame 4 of one side door 1 and the vertical frame 5 of the other side door 3 face each other when the doors are closed. The drop structure is provided with a drop receiver 6 fixed into the vertical frame 5 of the other side door 3, and the drop bar 9 supported to the drop receiver 6 and having a knob 9A. An opening 5A is formed in a side face S, facing the vertical frame 4 of one side door 1, of the vertical frame 5 of the other side door 3, and the knob 9A can be operated only from the opening 5A.
