MELT SPINNING SPINNERET FOR SUPERFINE FIBER AND MELT SPINNING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt spinning method which presents low-oriented undrawn yarn having 0.2-0.6 dtex single fiber fineness and comprising≥100 filaments at 2000 m/min or more spinning speed without breaking of filaments in a continuously stable spinning condition without passing through a conjugated fiber and a melt spinning spinneret with which this melt spinning method can be carried out. SOLUTION: This spinneret (1) is drilled with discharge holes (11) for melt spinning a superfine thermoplastic fiber having 0.2-0.6 dtex single fiber fineness and comprising≥100 filaments. The spinneret is edge-processed to have 1.0-5.0μm chamfer and/or R-bevel on the crossing parts (13) of a polymer discharge surface (12) of the spinneret (1) on which the discharge holes (11) are opened and each side wall of the opened discharge holes (11). This melt spinning method for the superfine fiber is to provide a superfine polyester fiber comprising yarns having 0.04-0.08 birefringence (ΔN) after wound up by using the spinneret.
