PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder composition suitable for providing a molding having practically sufficient strength and heat resistance and having improved safety and smell, a molding material composition containing the binder composition and a molding obtained by molding the molding material composition. SOLUTION: This binder composition comprises polystyrene powder [component (A)] and unsaturated polyester powder [component (B)]. The component (B) is obtained by subjecting a polyethylene terephthalate to glycol hydrolysis, adding anα-βunsaturated polybasic acid or its acid anhydride and carrying out condensation polymerization to give the binder composition. This molding material composition comprises the binder composition and a fiber base [component (D)]. This molding is obtained by molding the molding material composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
