COVER MEMBER, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS UNIT, DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE, SHUTTER MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components by providing a cover member, which protects the developing roller of a developing cartridge, with a memory tag protection cover, which protects the memory tag of the developing cartridge.

SOLUTION: The memory tag 60 storing service information, etc., is attached to the developing cartridge 30 holding the developing roller 31 of the image forming apparatus. The memory tag protection cover 72 for protecting the memory tag 60 is integrally provided on one of the side-edges of the cover member 70 used for protecting the developing roller 31 of the developing cartridge 30 before loaded in the image forming apparatus main body. To detach the cover member 70 by gripping a cover handle 76, the cover member 70 is turned around the other side-edge of the cover member 70. Thus, the cover is released from the developing roller 31 and the memory tag 60 safely without touching the developing roller 31.
