<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a quantity for one application from being short or in excess by causing a measured liquid to enter a second measuring chamber each time a cover cap is removed so as to apply only the liquid in the second chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The applying container comprises a container body 1, a cap 11, a cylinder 21 with a suction valve 29, a piston member 41 with a first delivery valve 42, an applying member 51 with an applying rod 56, a coil spring 71 for exerting force to the applying member upward, and a cover cap 81 with a push-down rod-like part 84 for pushing down the rod 56 into the cap 11. With the cover cap removed, the applying member 51 rises to cause the rod 56 to project upward through a sliding hole 14 of the cap 11, and a flow-out hole 55 outside a lower end of the rod is closed by a valve seat 16 along a periphery of a lower surface of the sliding hole 14. In addition, the applying member 51 pulls up the piston member 41 to the middle thereby allowing the liquid in the container to enter a first measuring chamber 91. With the cover cap 81 fitted, the applying member 51 and the piston member 41 are pushed down to cause the liquid in the first measuring chamber to enter a second measuring chamber 92. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
