<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to fit a cap so that the body of the cap is not damaged and to easily and surely break the body of the cap when removing the cap from a bottle. <P>SOLUTION: At the top part of the body of the cap (2), a plurality of protruding parts (13) are formed, because the head of a capping machine comes in contact with the protruding parts, does not come into direct contact with any part of weakened grooves, when fitting the cap into the mouth part of a bottle, there is little fear of breaking the weakened grooves and damaging the cap. If at the lowest end of a circumferential wall (8), a notch (14) communicating with the weakened grooves (6) is provided, when widening an outlet (5), the widening force is concentrated on the notch (14), thereby easily and surely breaking the body of the cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
