PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the controllability of a spool for a switching control valve and improve the responsiveness of a spool to a pull allowance signal for a speed lever for a remote operator by reducing the poor influences of a dither signal. SOLUTION: This variable dither control device comprises the switching control valve 20 capable of pilot operation for controlling the operation of a hydraulic actuator for a crane, the remote operator 60 for remote operating the switching control valve 20, a position detector 40 for detecting the displacement of the spool 21 of the switching control valve 20, and an arithmetic part 50 for outputting the dither signal having changed strength together with a pilot control signal to the switching control valve 20.
