摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an iron sintered alloy material which has excellent wear resistance, and is suitable for the valve seat of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An iron powdery mixture obtained by mixing, by mass, 20 to 70% pure iron powder, and, as the other raw material powder, 10 to 50% alloy iron powder in which the total content of one or more kinds selected from Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, Co, V, and Mn is≤10.0%, 0.5 to 1.5% carbon powder, 5 to 20% fine carbide precipitated steel powder, and 5 to 40% hard grain powder consisting of two or more kinds of elements selected from C, Cr, Mo, Co, Si, Ni, S, and Fe, and having a hardness of 500 to 1,500 Hv, and grain sizes of -100 meshes is subjected to compacting. This compact is next sintered at 1,000 to 1,200°C. Further, 0.2 to 3.0 pts.wt. solid lubricant powder and/or 0.2 to 5.0 pts.wt. oxide stabilizing powder can be added to 100 pts.wt. of the iron powdery mixture. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
