PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating resistance to water-whitening of a self-adhesive sheet when used in a watery space or in high humidity circumstances, and a self-adhesive sheet excellent in resistance to water- whitening. SOLUTION: Resistance to water-whitening is evaluated by a value (ΔH) obtained by subtracting a haze value before dropping of water from the maximum value of haze values measured between 1 hour after and 48 hours after from dropping of a specific amount of water onto a self-adhesive layer applied on a transparent film. There is also provided a self-adhesive comprising a substrate and, applied thereon, a self-adhesive sheet having aΔH value of at most 20% as measured by the evaluation method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
