The electric motor has the entire interior of the motor housing (23) enclosing the rotor (1) and the stator (2) filled with an impact-resistant hardened plastics mass (24), having a heat conduction coefficient of at least 0.6 W/sq mK, with the exception of the stator bore receiving the rotor. The hardened plastics mass may incorporate at least one cooling channel for a circulated cooling medium.
