PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground injection chemical liquid which can be prepared over a wide gelation time, especially of a long time, exhibits a strong agglomeration strength from an early period to a long period, scarcely causes the contraction of gel and the leaching of SiO<SB>2</SB>, and has small water permeability. SOLUTION: This ground injection chemical liquid contains two or more kinds of colloidal silica having different silica average diameters, respectively, especially a mixture of colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of≥10 nm with colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of≤10 nm. The ground injection chemical liquid contains colloidal silica whose particles are ranged from≤10 nm to≥10 nm. The ground injection chemical liquid, if necessary, further contains a reactant.
