PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing a polyglycolic acid-based aliphatic polyester resin as a main component, having excellent biodegradability never attained so far, softness, practical strength and barrier property when formed into a thin wall or plasticized. SOLUTION: This glycol acid-based resin composition (C) is composed of a resin consisting mainly of the polyglycolic acid-based aliphatic polyester resin having 110-250°C crystal melting point and an additive (B). In the resin composition (C), the content of the additive (B) is 0.5-30 wt.% and a main component of the additive (B) is at least one kind of compound selected from saturated ester compounds of citric acid. In the saturated ester compounds, a fatty acid component constituting an ester bond with an alcohol group in citric acid is≤3C short-chain fatty acid and an alcohol component constituting the ester bond with a carboxyl group in the citric acid is≤3C aliphatic saturated alcohol.
