PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining method for an electronic product material which can be mass produced as an electric charge transport material for electrophotography having satisfactory electric characteristics of e.g. sensitivity, residual potential, etc., and does not contain such impurities that deteriorate electric characteristics and satisfies the electric characteristics for obtaining an electrophotographic photoreceptor having less change of characteristics when it is fatigued. SOLUTION: The refining method for the electronic product material is characterized in that the electronic product material or an intermediate thereof is dissolved in an organic solvent, a resultant solution is brought into contact with activated clay at 65 to 200°C, then the activated clay is filtered, an obtained solution is brought into contact with new activated clay at 10 to 70°C and then the activated clay is filtered to enhance the electric characteristics.
